Rosalyn + Zevi: PART ONE

Imagine signing the guest book at a wedding and being told that you'll be seated at the BEEF CHOW FUN table. You walk through the room and see that your BEEF CHOW FUN table is just past the LATKES table. Then you look towards the middle of the room and see the MATZO BALL SOUP and MINUTE CHICKEN CAKE NOODLE head table. Intrigued? That's exactly what guests of Rosalyn and Zevi experienced at their summer wedding last year. And that's just the tip of the iceberg.

Top photo: Zevi's mother made this chuppah in 1975 and it has been used in weddings by many of their family and friends. Sewn on the chuppah is the Hebrew word "chai" which means "life."

Middle photo: Rosalyn and Zevi pose with the lions after the Chinese lion dance (an iconic staple in any Chinese celebration).

Bottom photo: Rosalyn and Zevi found a woman in Hawaii to design their ketubah (a decorative Jewish marriage contract) which featured Hawaiian-inspired artwork with text in Hebrew, English and Hawaiian.

More to come!
